Základy štruktúrnej geológie

Multimediálna učebnica zo základov štruktúrnej geológie bola vypracovaná pomocou grantu KEGA 055UMB-4/2016 na Fakulte prírodných vied UMB v Banskej Bystrici.

Učebnica štruktúrnej geológie využíva príťažlivejšie formy spracovania učebnej látky, umožňuje lepší prístup k informáciám a tým prispieva ku kreatívnejšej a flexibilnejšej výučbe. Vypracovaný učebný text je rozdelený do niekoľkých základných častí. Prvá, teoretická časť - Základy štruktúrnej geológie je zameraná na základnú charakteristiku a opis tektonických deformačných štruktúr. Je doplnená prehľadnými animáciami, obrázkami a fotografiami priamo na tento účel. Druhá časť obsahuje prezentácie, ktoré je možné využiť pri výučbe štruktúrnej geológie a pomôžu študentom s prípravou na záverečné testy. Ďalšia časť obsahuje základné otázky a skúšobné testy, ktoré preveria pochopenie študovaného materiálu. V praktickej časti, ktorá bude postupne doplnená, bude dôraz kladený na názornú prezentáciu postupov základných terénnych meraní a ich následného spracovania. Nová multimediálna učebnica štruktúrnej geológie bude prostredníctvom príkladov hľadať paralely v každodennej terénnej a laboratórnej práci. Pomôže študentom, ale aj terénnym geológom spojiť teóriu s praxou a podnieti ich predstavivosť prostredníctvom moderných a pre dnešnú dobu prijateľných prostriedkov, čím ich motivuje k hlbšiemu záujmu o štruktúrnu geológiu. Hlavným dôvodom pre vytvorenie multimediálnej učebnice zo základov štruktúrnej geológie je poskytnúť ľahko použiteľný a nákladovo efektívny nástroj pre výučbu a štúdium základných princípov štruktúrnej geológie.

The following textbook of structure geology utilizes more attractive forms of study material processing that improves student’s access to information and as a result contributes to more creative and flexible teaching. The study material is divided into several parts. First, theoretical part – The Fundamentals of Structural Geology is focused on the basic characteristics and description of the tectonic deformation structures. Study text is supplemented by clear animations, figures and photographs related to the study topic. Second part contains presentations designed for teaching the fundamentals of structure geology and to aid students in preparation for final examinations. The following section contains exam questions and mock test that examine the understanding of the studied materials. In the final part, which will be gradually updated, the emphasis is placed on the presentation of basic measurement procedures in the field and their subsequent processing. Present multimedia textbook of Fundamentals of Structural Geology aims to explore parallels between everyday terrain and laboratory work through specific situations and examples. By combining theory and practice, the goal of this text book is to deepen interest of students and field geologist and to stimulate reader’s imagination by modern means of presentation. The principal motive for creating this multimedia textbook is to provide an easy to use and cost effective tool for teaching and studying the basic principles of structural geology.
